Scan and Cook
Overview
When I joined Alacrity in 2020 we were asked to create a app/ web app idea to then present to the rest of the cohort.
Role:
Come up with an innovative design/idea and then design and mockup a wireframe to then present to the cohort.
Tools:
- Adobe XD/ FIgma
- Illustrator
Problem
Many people around the world have lots of left over ingredients in their home and are unsure what meals they can create from those ingredients.
Solution
My idea was to create a scan and cook idea, where you can scan the ingredients that you have at home and it will make suggestions on meals you can create.
Product
The app allows you to scan the ingredients, going through an object recognition and pulling out the names of those ingredients and showing potential recipes you could create using those ingredients.
After creating the recipe you can then take a photo and share with other users.
